What I learn from Lab 2B of 6.002x

start from mass

At first, I designed  a very complex resistor network. I think with solving resistor's values, maybe there were some broken link or short link. The resistor=infinity means broken link, and resistor=0 means short link.

So, basically, I want the answer emerged by math.

If you solve the Lab 2B, you will find my design is not complex enough to cover the all link, and not simple enough to solve the equations.


follow the sample

Then, I followed the sample "Lab 2A: Superposition Experiment". I tried to modify from sample. In the sample, source 2 is a current source. you can not just replace it with a voltage source. Because, when you calculate the contribution of source 1, there will be a short. So transfer a current source into a voltage source is the key to solve the problem.

Once I solve the source replacement, I solve the Lab 2B.

learn to separate

I am curiosity how other people solve. So I browse the discussion. I found [this](https://6002x.mitx.mit.edu/discussion/question/26116/lab-2b-stuperposition) @BopazTheGreat gave a very interesting design

In his design sinusoid voltage is oscillating correctly, but the magnitude of square wave is too small. To correct the value, it's just math.

@BopazTheGreat show me another pathway to separate the circuit into two different parts. I would rather to change his circuit into another form:

With this form, I think I can have a more beautiful solve. I simplify his circuit.

From 2 to N

What if I want to mix more input source? So I extended the problem

Voutput= a1 V1+a2 V2 +a3 V3 .... aN VN

the circuit @BopazTheGreat can be extended. After simplify.
